What items are excluded from earning Registry Star Rewards?

The following items are excluded: cosmetics, fragrances, furniture, mattresses, rugs, services, gift card purchases, sales tax, shipping fees, gift wrap fees, other credit marketing offers and leased departments (including, but not limited to, beauty salon, alterations, interior design, bridal gowns, furs, children's shoes, maternity and food).

I'm already a Macy's Star Rewards customer. Why do I have to enroll again?

Macy's Star Rewards and Registry Star Rewards are two separate programs and you can participate in both. However, because the Registry Star Rewards program is an optional program & contingent on having a gift registry, enrollment is required to confirm your eligibility to participate.

How do I know how many Registry Star Rewards I've earned to date?

How does deleting my registry affect the Registry Star Rewards total?

When you request to have your registry postponed or deleted from the system, your enrollment is cancelled and all Registry Star Rewards are forfeited. If you decide to register again at a later date, you may enroll again, but previous rewards earned will not be reinstated.

Is my anniversary registry eligible for Registry Star Rewards?

Unfortunately, not at this time. Registry Star Rewards is only offered to Wedding and Commitment occasions.

There are items showing as purchased on my registry... why haven't I received them?

There are several reasons why an item may show as purchased but you have yet to receive it:

  • The item was recently purchased & shipped and is still in transit.
  • Your guest may not have had a chance to deliver the item to you.
  • The item is on backorder and has yet to be shipped.

If you supplied us with an email when you registered, you'll receive notification when items are backordered. In order to receive these notices, please make sure that your spam filter is off and that you add macys.com to your address book as a trusted address.

I created my registry in-store. Can I access it online?

Yes! Please check your inbox for an email from macys.com. This contains a direct link and is the quickest way to start managing your registry online. If you're unable to locate the email we sent, please access your registry here.

How long does it take for my in-store registry to appear on macys.com?

Your in-store registry will be available on macys.com immediately.

What if I don't see the registry I created in-store on macys.com?

If you chose not to make your registry available online when you started it in-store and wish to change it, or if you believe your registry should be available online and you don't see it, please contact our Customer Service department at 1-800-568-8865.

What if my event date has changed or I want to change my shipping address, personal information, email address or password?

You may change all of this online through your registry manager by clicking on the edit account link.

Please note: if you're enrolled in Registry Star Rewads, your Rewards expiration dates and card shipment dates will also change accordingly based on your new wedding date.

Why can't I add an item I saw on macys.com to my registry?

Not all items carried at macys.com are available for registry. All registry items include an "Add to Registry" button on the product detail page.

Can I register for a mattress, furniture or rug for our new home?

Mattresses, furniture and area rugs are not available online for registry. Please speak with your in-store consultant if you wish to add them to your list.

Some of the items I registered for online don't show a picture or the image doesn't match the item. Why?

Our vendors supply us with the images used on our website. Occasionally, they're unable to provide us with an image of the product. In additon, some images contain the specific item you're looking for among others in the same shot, such as in our bedding department or giftware collections. Please look at the item description to see your item's specific attributes.

What if I want to add more items to my registry?

To add items to your registry online, please sign-in to your registry. You may add items to your registry both in-store and by accessing your account online.

Can the price of an item change after I add it to my registry?

Yes, prices may fluctuate and also may differ online and in-store.

What is Macy's return policy?

We want you to love your purchase, but if you are not completely satisfied, we will gladly accept many merchandise returns within 180 days of purchase. There are exceptions to our 180-day return policy. For example, Last Act items must be returned within 30 days of purchase. Complete details on exceptions can be found in the links below. Free returns in-store or by mail. Contiguous U.S. only. Exclusions apply. Please note: Items being returned must be in their original condition. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

Do all Macy's stores offer Wedding & Gift Registry?

How long will my registry be available after my event date?

Your registry will be available to your guests in-store and online for 13 months after your occasion date or last date of activity, whichever date is later.

Where can my guests purchase items from my registry?

Your guests can access and make purchases from your registry online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at macys.com, or in-store at more than 800 stores nationwide!

I have guests coming from overseas. Can they shop online?

Yes! Your guests can shop online if they have a US billing address on their credit card. To expedite international orders, please call 1-513- 573-7912. Please note: international calling charges may apply.

My fiance and I are in the military. Do you ship to military addresses?

macys.com offers U.S. Priority Mail service to APO/FPO U.S. military addresses. Due to military handling times, we cannot estimate shipping times to APO/FPO addresses.

The proper format for a military address is to enter APO (Army Post Office) or FPO (Fleet Post Office) in the city field, along with "AE" (mail going to Europe, the Middle East, Africa and portions of Canada), "AP" (the Pacific) and "AA" (for the Americas and portions of Canada) in the state field. Therefore, the bottom line of overseas military addresses is: APO or FPO; followed by AE, AP, or AA; and then the ZIP Code.

We'll be out of town after our occasion. Can you hold our gifts until we get back?

We apologize, but we cannot hold gifts for pickup. We recommend using a shipping address in which someone will be there to accept packages for you before, during and after your occasion. You can always update it to your permanent address once you've returned from your honeymoon.

How many enclosure cards can I order?

You can order up to 150 cards at a time.

How long will it take to receive my enclosure cards?

Please allow up to 10 business days to receive your enclosure cards. If you haven't received your enclosure cards within 14 days of your original order, you can place another order at no cost. If you're having any difficulty placing or receiving your order, please contact our Customer Service department at 1-800-568-8865.

I live outside the United States and want to register at Macy's. How do I do this?

Thanks for considering Macy's for your gift registry! Please note that we cannot ship gifts outside of the US and its territories. If your shipping address is within the US or its territories, you're welcome to create a registry with us.

Do I get a discount for items I did not receive after my wedding?

Yes, with Macy's Newlywed Discount Program, you'll receive a 20% discount on most remaining items on your registry & a 10% discount on furniture, mattresses & rugs for a whole 180 days after your occasion!

How is an item purchased from the gift list updated?

When an item is purchased from a gift list online, in-store or by phone, it will automatically be updated on the registry.

How can I keep track of my gifts and thank you notes?

Sign-in to your registry and view the Thank You Card Manager where you can track gifts you've received and thank you notes.

How do I know what the couple still needs?

When viewing the couple's registry, the "we need" column shows items the couple has available for purchase.

What does Macy's gift packaging look like and how much does it cost?

Great gifts come in great packages! For only $6 per address, we'll place each item being shipped in our beautiful gift box presentation and tie it with a silky bow.
Please note: some larger items and items shipped directly from the vendor cannot be gift boxed. These items are clearly marked on macys.com. Similar items may be placed in the same gift box. When you ship items to multiple addresses, we'll add $6 for each additional address.

I can't see the couple's shipping information. How can I send a gift from the couple's registry?

For security reasons, we do not display the couple's shipping address. When you select to have merchandise shipped to the couple, we'll ship it to the address they have on file with us.

I live outside of the US. How do I place an order?

No matter where you are, we'll help get your gift to the happy couple. If you have a credit card with a US billing address, you can place your registry order online any time! If you have a credit card with an international billing address, we'd be happy to place your order over the phone. Please contact us at (IDD #)+1+513-573-7912 - for example customers from Canada dial 011+1+513-573-7912, Monday-Friday 9am-9pm; Saturday 9am-7pm and Sunday 11am-7pm. Please note: long distance fees may apply.

We apologize, but at this time macys.com only ships to addresses in the United States, APOs, American Samoa, Marshall Islands, Palau, US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and Guam.
