Don’t see your plan? No worries; we may still accept it

Make sure to speak with a LensCrafters at Macy’s Colleague to determine what your vision insurance plan or FSA covers. The Independent Doctors of Optometry* may accept different vision care insurance plans. Remember to confirm eye exam coverage with your plan or doctor directly. Offers & insurance plans cannot be combined.

Have an FSA?

When you sign up for an FSA, money from each paycheck is automatically deposited into an account. You can use it to pay for health expenses—including vision—that aren’t covered by insurance. You decide the amount in advance and contributions aren’t taxed, so each dollar goes further.
Just one: unused funds don’t carry over into the next year. Schedule your eye exam prior to your FSA’s deadline to take advantage of your benefits.
Every plan is different, so take a good look at your policy to confirm. Typically, expenses like the following are covered:Co-payments and deductiblesRoutine eye examsPrescription eyeglassesContact lensesPrescription sunglasses

Have an HSA?

Depending on your insurance plan, your company may offer an HSA instead of an FSA. Unlike an FSA, the money in an HSA does not expire. Instead, it earns interest over time and can be used for additional health care expenses. Just like an FSA, you can usually use HSA dollars to pay for vision care.
