Founded in 1867 in Atlanta, Rich's became a Southern institution known for its legendary return policy, accepting any and all items. Rich's philanthropic reputation toward customers and numerous charities earned the store a place in the hearts of many local communities. It pioneered "Partners in Time," which is today Macy's nationwide employee volunteerism program.
