Our Fireworks launch from four barges positioned along the lower
East River between Pier 17 & the Downtown Manhattan Heliport.

ADA viewing will be available at the Murry Bergtraum Softball Field with access at Pike Slip & Cherry Street.
Location information

As crowds build at the access points noted on the map above, some of these locations will be closed & spectators will be redirected to additional open access points. Access points, viewing locations & transportation are subject to change.

Where can I watch Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks® show in person?
Macy’s Fireworks will be visible from any area with an unobstructed view of the sky above the lower East River with the show launched from the Brooklyn Bridge and four surrounding barges. Prime public viewing will be available along elevated portions of the FDR drive with the following access points managed by NYPD:
- Montgomery Street at Madison Street
- Robert F. Wagner Sr. Place and Brooklyn Bridge off/on ramps
- Broad Street at Water Street
- ADA viewing will be available at the Murry Bergtraum Softball Field with access at Pike Slip and Cherry Street
All spectators should note that alcohol, backpacks, blankets, cigarettes, drones, duffle bags, e-cigarettes, large bags, large coolers, large packages, lawn chairs, motorized scooters, umbrellas, and weapons will not be permitted into the public viewing locations for security reasons. Spectators viewing from New York City are subject to search by NYPD, and all viewing locations are subject to change at any time by NYPD. -

How do I get tickets for the show?
Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks® is a free public event. Tickets are not for sale.
Please note: if you are interested in purchasing tickets to any venue (i.e., restaurant, bar, etc.) along the viewing path that may be advertising such access, that is up to your discretion. Macy’s is not aware of, and does not approve, endorse, or participate in these events/activities. Macy’s does not sell tickets to any VIP viewing locations.

What is a safety tip for viewing the live show?
Stay hydrated in the heat! The forecast may include high temperatures & humidity around NYC. Be sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day. Bring a refillable water bottle to the NYC public viewing locations as DEP “Water on the Go” water-bottle-refill stations may be available in proximity to entry points to select viewing locations.

Where can I see the performers?
Unfortunately, access to the performance area is not available to the general public as it is part of the television broadcast. To see these performances, please tune in to our show’s broadcast on NBC and live streaming on Peacock at 8pm ET.
