Do I need a reservation to visit Santaland?
Yes. Santa will be seen by reservation only. Reservations will open five days in advance of the day you wish to visit. For example, to see Santa on Dec. 16, you can access that day’s available reservations five days in advance on Dec. 11. Reservations open at 6:30am local time each day. Please include every member of your party (adults & children) going into the attraction when making your reservation. (Maximum capacity per reservation is six people.)
When is the best time to book my visit to see Santa?
Santa reservations will be easier to obtain Mon.-Thurs. throughout the season. Please note: your reservation time slot is to join the line to see Santa. Average wait times can be 30-90 minutes. Weekends are Santa’s busiest times.
What should I do if I have issues booking a reservation?
Please note: reservations open at 6:30am local time for open reservations five days out. If you do not see a date available five days in advance, it is likely because all available reservations have been booked for that day. If you are having tech issues or need to cancel an existing reservation, please see our “Help Center” below to email us.
What will my photo with Santa look like this year?
Guests will visit Santa in his office as he works behind his desk again this year. He’s excited to see you & take a photo with you as you sit on the opposite side of this desk. Young children who are not able to sit up on their own will require an adult or older child to sit with them to hold them up. Santa will not be able to hold children on his lap or desk.
My child has a specific vision of what Santa looks like.
Will you be able to accommodate that request?
At Macy’s, we believe that Santa is all things to all people who find joy in his goodness & kindness. We treasure the memories that families have made & shared with us over the years & enjoy being able to accommodate requests from near & far. If Black Santa is your child’s vision of the man in red, please select that option when prompted while making your reservation. If you would like your visit in Spanish, please book your reservation on our website for Wednesday to Sunday 12:30pm-4:30pm ET.
Is there a Santaland Express Pass?
Santaland does not have an Express Pass this year.
What safety measures are you taking?
Macy’s is implementing several safety measures to provide a safe & magical experience for your visit. Some of these include increased cleaning procedures for all high-touch surfaces & a reimagined Santa experience to allow for safer visits (Santa behind his desk). Masks are welcome & are optional for guests & staff. Macy’s will continue to monitor & align with local & state health guidelines. Additional changes may be implemented, if warranted.
