Your online or in-store purchase must total between $10 and $1,000 to be eligible. Gift Cards and Beauty Box subscriptions cannot be purchased with Klarna.

You’ll need to create a Digital card in the Klarna app each time you make a purchase in a Macy’s store. Select In-Store in the Klarna app and search for “Macy’s”. You can then estimate your purchase amount and create a Digital card in the app to use for your purchase that day. (You’ll only be charged for what you spend.) Add the Digital card to your virtual wallet on your phone and make your purchase at the checkout counter. Note: In-store purchases are only eligible for U.S. residents.

If you don’t see Klarna at checkout, that means that the items in your shopping bag aren’t Klarna-eligible. Make sure your purchase total is between $10 and $1,000. If you have Gift Cards or a Beauty Box subscription in your bag, your order won’t be eligible for purchase with Klarna. (Try removing those items or choosing another form of payment.)

A Digital card is a virtual card that allows you to make purchases at a Macy’s store and pay for it in 4 easy payments. A Digital card can only be used in store. You can create one in the Klarna app. A Digital card can be used for multiple purchases as long as it’s within 24 hours of the initial card creation.

When you create a Digital card in the Klarna app, you’ll enter the dollar amount that you plan to spend. Your personal credit/debit card will be authorized for a portion of the total amount. Add the Digital card to your virtual wallet on your phone and complete the purchase at checkout. A Digital card can be used for multiple purchases as long as it’s with 24 hours of the initial card creation. To make another purchase after the 24-hour window, just create a new card and keep on shopping.

You’ll need to create a new card for the correct amount & delete the original one.

No worries, you’ll only be billed for what you end up using.

Click on the “My Klarna” tab in the Klarna app and select “One-time cards.” Then you’ll be able to remove the Digital card.

Klarna purchases can be made with a Macy’s American Express^® Card online, but not in store. Macy’s Credit Cards can not be used for any Klarna purchases.

We want you to love your purchase, but if you’re not completely satisfied, we gladly accept most returns by mail and in stores within 30 days of purchase for free. Returned items must be in original, saleable condition with original tags. Shipping and delivery fees are non-refundable.
