Non-transferable. You must activate the offer to earn 5 points per $1 spent on qualifying Entertainment and Streaming purchases made outside of Macy’s with your Macy’s American Express Card. Purchases made at Macy’s or within any establishment located in Macy’s will not qualify for this offer. Offer valid from 06/18/24- 09/30/24. Bonus points will be issued within 1 billing cycle of the purchase, less returns, credits, discounts, and adjustments. Excludes cash advances, the purchase of money orders and other cash-equivalent transactions. Entertainment is defined as merchants who provide entertainment, entertainment ticketing, amusement, or recreation. Entertainment can include motion picture and video tape distribution or rentals, dance halls, theatrical productions and ticketing agencies, bowling alleys, billiard and pool establishments, commercial and professional sports clubs, tourist attractions and exhibits, carnivals and circuses, public and private golf courses, aquariums/seaquariums/dolphinariums, video amusement, game supplies and arcades, bands/orchestras and other miscellaneous entertainers. Entertainment does not include an establishment or stand-alone merchant that primarily serves food and/or beverage, groceries, or gas. Entertainment does not include private or public wagering or betting of any kind. Entertainment does not include airlines, lodging/hotels/motels and resorts or travel-related purchases. Streaming is defined as cable or other pay television services including live or recorded movie or tv show services delivered to televisions, mobile devices or computer devices via the internet and played back in real time. Streaming does not include music or audio subscription services. American Express determines the industry category for merchants, but Macy’s reserves the right to determine which purchases qualify for points offer. For every 1,000 points, a $10 Star Money reward will be issued that is valid for 30 days. Star Money expires 30 days after issuance.

Star Money Rewards: Once you accumulate 1,000 points, a $10 Star Money reward will be issued. Star Money may be used to purchase merchandise at Macy’s, Macy’s Backstage or macys.com. Star Money may not be exchanged for cash, used to purchase Macy’s gift cards, used for services (e.g., Beauty Box and other subscription services, restaurants, salon services, alterations, etc.), used in any department that does not use a Macy’s point of sale register, used for any purchase that will be shipped outside the U.S. or used as payment on any credit account. To redeem a Star Money reward on orders of furniture and mattresses on macys.com, you must call Macy’s Customer Service. Star Money may not be redeemed when paying with a Macy’s Credit Card in a Macy’s store if you use an electronic wallet other than Macy’s Pay. Star Money cannot be redeemed in self-checkout. Star Money is valid for 30 calendar days from issuance. Purchases made solely with Star Money will not receive discounts available with cardholder savings offers which require payment with a Macy’s Credit Card. Except where prohibited by law, if your Macy’s Credit Card Account is closed by you or us, or you fail to make a qualifying purchase on your Macy’s Credit Card account during any consecutive 12-month period, all points and any unused Star Money will be forfeited.
