Boot or Bootie?
If you’re not a shoe expert, you might be asking yourself—what’s the difference between a boot and a bootie? Although they sound similar, a bootie is essentially a boot that hits at the ankle or below while still encapsulating the foot. They can be flat or come in a variety of heel heights. A boot is typically considered to hit above the ankle—which could be mid-calf, knee high, above the knee or even thigh high. Franco Sarto booties typically offer sturdy support with a low or mid heel that is often stacked and more stable than a stiletto. You can find rough and ready Franco Sarto ankle boots that are ideal for a hike, or a modern square toe style crafted from soft and supple leather. Franco Sarto boots are equally as stylish, with a high shaft that’s often accessorized with an adjustable buckle. Many styles are even offered in a wide-calf width!
Heels or Flats?
It’s the age old question—do you want to wear heels or flats? You’ve got to think about the occasion, the location, your outfit and of course, how much time you will spend on your feet. Once you’ve figured out your footwear tolerance, it’s time to decide if you’re going with Franco Sarto flats or heeled shoes. Looking for something a little different? Consider Franco Sarto loafers, mules or slides for easy slip on and go style. Going to be in warmer weather? Franco Sarto sandals are a perfect pick to get your toes out when the temperature rises.
