I have many cookware items for various purposes in my kitchen including All Clad and Le Creuset. I couldn’t pass up getting this set at such a fabulous price. I wanted an All Clad 2qt saucepan and a 10 inch skillet so got those and more. I’d bought a larger set of All Clad for my daughter and this set is my “completer” set. It’s a great starter set if you want to buy a high quality stainless steel set. All Clad inspires both myself and my daughter to cook wonderful dishes, it’s such a pleasure to use and an excellent investment. Highly recommend this set.

Not good
I bought the D3 set during the sale, I was excited to use to but my excitement didn’t last long. I boiled pasta in the big pan, when I was cleaning I noticed a black water marks in the bottom and some white specks inside the pan. I cleaned with Bar keepers friend using a soft sponge but they didn’t go, looks like I got a bad batch pots. All clad makes very good pots and pans somehow I felt mine were not up to their standard mark. I felt these are little less heavy than my previous All clad. They are going back to the store. I’m glad I bought at Macys because Macys customer service is so good sending them back will be easy.
Great set of stainless steel pots
I got this stainless steel set to replace the worn out non- stick pans as well as cast iron and aluminum that ruined my last ceramic glass electric stovetop. The All-clad D3 was suggested as being a better fit for the glasstop than the D5 due to the lighter weight. The D3 looks beautiful and is easy to use. I'm hoping it will extend the life of my range. I do plan to get one nonstick pan as well as a stockpot with higher sides as the small stockpot's sides are a little low for when I'm cooking for company or large batches. For just one to three people, this set is perfect.
