[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love having a handheld immersion blender and use it often for soups and other dinner items. But the fact that this one is metal on the bottom means that I have to be very very careful when using it in a pan. The metal on the bottom of the blender can scratch up other metal/the bottom of pans if they come into contact.

I've owned my All-Clad immersion blender for almost 3 years now and I'm in love with its performance. I find it extremely easy to clean and use. I use it almost every single day and I've never had a single issue. I love it!

I cook ALOT and as a consequence I burn through appliances and tools faster than most people. I use my immersion blenders for cooking and I buy a extra for soap making. I have burned through 6 of them to date. This one i expect will last longer because it is better built than any other I've bought previously. Solid with no gaps, heavy duty, speed control, and I'm loving the flat head (easier to clean!).

I have been using my immersion blender for 4 years. Perfect for creamed soups, smoothies, and coffee drinks.
