Not Ankle Length. Fabric feels synthetic.

I am only 5’4” and this robe is Not ankle length! It hits just below my knee, after washing it got even shorter (i washed in cold and i only partially tumble dry) The fabric says cotton but it is shedding and fraying like a synthetic.
