ITEM BACKORDERED AND CANNOT CANCEL

I ordered the Barbie Dream House on Dec 22nd to be delivered between Dec 30-Jan 4. I received an email on Dec 26th that the item has been backordered without any update of when the order will be shipped. The email sent by MACY's stated that I would be able to cancel my order if this was not acceptable. I called the 1-800-BUY-MACY number twice to CANCEL the order. . First, waiting on hold for 20 minutes, I spoke to a person who had difficulty communicating in English. He hung up on me and connected me to a survey. The second person I spoke to said that I cannot cancel the backorder, but was unable provide any info of when the backorder will ship. I ordered this as a gift for my niece. It was to be delivered to my 90-year old mother's address where my family will be visiting. As this item is backordered without an est. delivery date, I am VERY dissatisfied that I cannot cancel the order. My mother does not drive and will not be able to return the item if it arrives after we leave

Just noticed box was damaged too left corner upon pick up , hoping nothing inside is damaged 😞 A very deserving kid is receiving this gift.! However great price !

MISSING PIECE

Bought this on July 19th, 2024 for my daughter’s 6th birthday. She loved it we put it together together, everything was fine until we noticed there was no platform for the wheelchair elevator, so the elevator couldn’t be assembled or put on the side of the house. It wasn’t complete and my daughter was really looking forward to enjoying her BDH. Reached out to customer service still haven’t received a reply. For a 200 dollar product there should be NO missing pierces let alone NO reply from a reputable and known company such as Mattel. I am disappointed.

broken parts in the box

got one for my niece in September for Christmas on sale...when she opened it up for Christmas one of the pink bases was broken and the base to the 3rd floor was also broken...we were so heart broken...tried contacting the company and no answer, guess it because of the holidays.
