We have two sectionals from Macys, the now discontinued, 5 star rated "Jedd" and this "Brant".
We loved our Jedd from day one and two years later that is still a great couch.
When it was time for another couch, I desperately wanted another Jedd but they had been discontinued and the Brant occupied the space on the showroom floor that our Jedd did a few years prior.
We bought the Brant and I've had it for about a month now.
This is a review about the Brant - not about the delivery, the delivery was fine - on time, no issues.
The Brant is ok, 2 stars might be a little harsh, but compared to the Jedd, it's just not that comfortable.
Sometimes when a couch breaks in, it gets more comfortable, and in the case of the brant, the opposite is happening, as the foam softens, I'm starting to feel a wood support bar in the lumbar area - it's REALLY uncomfortable feeling that solid wooden bar in my lower back!
It's unfortunate because this couch is close to getting so many things right. I loved the idea of power recline and headrest, the buttons on the side with USB were a nice touch, The high backs looked like they would be conducive to the laziest of lazy tv watching - I wouldn't even have to support my head!
But in the end it's comfort that matters and the 15 year old couch this replaced was more comfortable by far. The 2 year old Jedd we have in another part of the house is also more comfortable.
I realize this is just one persons opinion, and it will be interesting to see the reviews over time on the Bryant, as I almost expect them to go down as people use them more.
I might also have overly high standards since we have both the Jedd and the Brant in different rooms, so I have a constant reminder of how much more comfortable that couch is relative to this one. Maybe if you have nothing to compare to, this one will be be great....

We received our sectional sofa yesterday precisely during the delivery window. our white glove delivery personnel were curteous and quick.
our sectional is just perfect for us. the cushions are nice and firm, and the power controls allow you to position yourself ANYWAY you'd like. the selling point for me was the adjustable headrest. no putting your arm behind your head or needing to use a support pillow. very, very comfortable. and the neutral mocha color goes nicely in our family room.
Yes, I recommend this product.
Shopping & White Glove Delivery

At this time I can only provide our experience with shopping for the Brant sectional and white glove delivery. Shopping at Macy's Furniture Store in San Mateo, CA was not as bad as other furniture showrooms with sharks hunting for bates for sale commission. After visiting 5 furniture showrooms, we decided to make our purchase for our family room sectional at Macy's for the quality and reputation. We met Dave Sekino during our first visit and our second visit, he remembered all the sectionals we were interested in purchasing. Our second visit had dimensions which narrowed down to 3 options to choose from. One would think that a sales person will push for the more expensive item, however, Dave never!!! Although, we wanted a genuine leather sectionals and the three we loved, Dave, could have sold us one of those, each had something that would not work in our family room. Dave kept referring to the Brant as a better option for our family room AND it is half the price compared to the leather sectionals. Who would have imagined that a sales person recommends based on what is better for the customer and not based on commission, quota and/or if we will rate his customer service with a 5-star service. We bought the Brant in fudge. Since I didn't see any review regarding the Brant, Dave said it was one of Macy's newer pieces, I thought I will provide a review.... the quality and comfort of the Brant sectional will be reviewed in about 6 months since it was delivered today and writing a review regarding the Brant would not be of value to anyone purchasing the Brant at this point.
The White Glove Delivery Service..our family has been customers of Macy's for over 50+ years and purchased many pieces of our furnitures and mattresses, our recollection was, when asked, delivery fee was waived....not this time. While so many purchases are made online nowadays with free shipping, I'm a little surprised that Macy's can't offer free delivery for purchase over a specific amount... How's that for marketing customers to make additional purchases by offering free delivery? Not saying it should be free delivery, just be competitive with other vendors, provide options. However, I must say that the White Glove Delivery Service was truly white glove service! The three gentlemen, in rain, delivered and setup the Brant sectional with the upmost professionalism followed by instructions on how to use the Brant sectional. So, 4-stars and our recommendation in purchasing this product on shopping, purchasing the Brant sectional, and white glove delivery experiences....in about 6 months, after our experiences with the Brant and a few holiday parties hosting, etc..., we will review again with our thoughts on the Brant.
