The machine stopped working after just 12 months. Brim refuses to honor their warranty. There help contact is awful, they treat you unfairly and do not return email requests. Horrible experience with the unit and the company help contact.

Little to no pressure. The materials are very cheap. The bottom of my cups scratched the drip tray metal. The buttons did not work every time. I had to turn it off/on.

I returned it! I've had 3 Cusinarts for half the price that pulled a better shot & the "pressure" indicator is a joke. It never got past the first mark. My biggest issue is the Programming which asks you to run your process a certain way & if you deviate, its hard to make it work again. (ie, I like a little more Espresso in the cup than just the 2 Shot Button but it makes it very difficult to get that). Secondly, the Steam want didn't have enough pressure to provide Microfoam. I want thick, creamy foam but I just get foam on top no matter how I work the Nozzle. Old fashioned machines are just more flexible. Cannot recommend.

The second day and the power button will NOT turn on! We used it literally once and it's already broken. We are not sure if we should take a chance and exchange.

Finding the right espresso machine for the home can be very difficult. This is a pretty good machine with good features and a pretty complete kit. It comes with four coffee baskets which is rare as most home machines just come with two pressurized baskets; Brim gives you two additional non pressurized baskets which allows you to use freshly custom ground coffee from your own grinder. That's important. They give you a proper heavy metal tamper and a milk frothing pot. As expected the pressurized baskets are needed when using pre ground espresso coffee from a can. If you serious about getting a nice shot then you will need an espresso grinder that will allow you to find the right grind for the non pressurized baskets. Good grinders are expensive but worth it for best results. The machine has a wonderful feature which allows you to program how much water or volume you draw from single or double pulls. The steamer works well as does the hot water spout for fast tea water.

The pressure control is what I love best. With this at half price compared to the breville, its a good buy. Saves my time with the Starbucks stop, not to mention that I can not seem to get my order right for the perfect strong cappuccino. Best to do it yourself!

Espresso maker vetting can be a tough process & I’ve been looking for a maker for a while; not be be an expert barista, but to enjoy a simple espresso drink (or three) at home. The brim 19 bar espresso maker is the perfect machine to achieve this need and I’m ecstatic to finally be able to make espresso at home! The brim maker looks amazing and comes with all the accessories the make the perfect latte, espresso, or cappuccino. I’ve searched for a lot of espresso makers; many friends have other makers which are not only more expensive but also more temperamental...with none matching what this brim maker offers for the price point. Highly recommend this maker!!

I am a huge coffee lover and I absolutely love this espresso machine. I was excited to use it and found that it was easy to use. The espresso and lattes i made were deelish! I really like how it keeps your cup warm and it was easy to clean. This is a beautiful espresso maker and definitely worth having!
