Contemporary Stainless Steel 2 Qt. Covered Chef's Pan
Product details
Web ID: 148065My favorite pot in the kitchen
I have been using my 2-quart saucier pot for about a year and it is my number 1 go-to for making rice, small stews, reheating foods (I don't have a microwave), making and heating sauces, making yogurt -- so many use it is perfect for. I never even put it away - after washing it goes back on the stove. It seems to have been discontinued, which is a shame as it would make a wonderful wedding, shower, housewarming or other other gift. Even those with a kitchen full of pots and pans would love and use this one. It cleans up beautifully - I use a little Barkeeper's Friend or Bon Ami if the beans or other food leave a residue. Lovely to look at, too.

very well made
its really nice and look so cool so many of my friends already want to buy one for their self.very sturdy and because of triply food does'nt burn so easily like ordinary satinless steel i love it and highly recommend it.
love it
I received this in the mail only about a week ago, but I have used it every day since. I purchased it to use more as a small pot than a "pan" and I am very happy with my purchase. I like the glass top, and although I was initially taken aback by how narrow - for lack of a better word - the bottom is, it works perfectly and I have no complaints. (Perhaps the words "slightly tapered" would better describe the bottom.) The pot is big enough / small enough for everything I need it to do and the quality is high. I did notice that the glass top makes a clicking noise when it heats up, but this could be that it's still new, and as long as it doesn't explode, I don't particularly care. I have put both the pot and cover in the dishwasher - which doesn't get it truly clean - but that is probably my sad dishwasher and nothing to do with the pot. The best way to clean this pot and make it shine - is with steel wool -- and why not? It's stainless steel and there is no non-stick coating to scratch off. This pot makes me happy.

Great Value
Replaced my All Clad 2 qt. with this one. The curved bottom helps cook better and is much easier to clean after messy dishes like oatmeal.

Small handle missing
I was excited when I see this pot since it has 2 handles (one long and 1 small handle on the opposite side of the pot). Upon receiving it, the pot does not have the small handle, which makes carrying the pot around the stove a little heavier (since the pot is of good quality (ie: quite thick and heavy). Thus, I minus 1 heart from it. Otherwise, I love this pot and it is the right size for me to cook up a small pot of soup (or even saute some small meal without the oil splattering out since the sides are high enough.)

Beautiful Pot, but....
Beautiful, solid, lovely to handle, excellent multi-purpose use for me (single person). Would have given 5 stars, but interior stains so no 5 stars. Will try lemon juice &/or Bar Keepers to remove (as recommended by Calphalon).

Great pan!!!
I love this pan!! Great design. It is not very heavy so makes it easier to move around in the kitchen.
Cooks Well, Looks Great
We got this chef's pan as gift off our wedding registry and we love it. It heats evenly, and cooks very well. I've used it for cooking rice, to cooking small cuts of meat, to making sauces, and it is a pleasure to use.
