Get your hands on this seriously chic coat from Calvin Klein, styled entirely in luxe faux fur with chic faux-fur trim around the hood.
This coat is really beautiful, the issue I have with it is the hood. The faux fur trim around the hood isn’t very fluffy at all. I have two other Calvin Klein coats both with super fluffy faux fur trims on the hood and that’s what I was expecting for this coat to have. I’ll likely be returning it if I can find another coat with a fluffier trim.
We gave this to our daughter for Christmas, she absolutely loves this coat.
Beautiful! I ordered this in a L but I'm exchanging it for an XL because the buttons are hard to hook. Otherwise, PERFECTION!!
The pockets' location makes this coat a "NO" for me. When it's cold, I may or may not be wearing gloves and want to place my hands in the coat pockets (with or w/out gloves, depending on temps). I may also use the pockets for keys. This coat makes you reach 'behind your back' to get to the pockets. It's odd and not right. Otherwise, it's nice.
Calvin Klein clothes generally seem to run small. This coat is no exception. I usually get L size tops and coats, so I got an L and should have sized up 1. I'm very tall, around 200lb with a 38/C bra. Predictably, the coat made me look bigger, but honestly it was mostly the pockets. SUCH a stupid idea to make them on the edge of the hip area. They do NOT lie flat and due to this they add a ton of extra volume there, it looks ridiculous. I thought about sewing them shut and getting rid of the pockets but just like many have said, this is not a great coat for anyone above size 4-6. I was hoping it would work for me, but it just didn't. At my height especially ... I looked like bear! lol. The quality was nice with the exception of the black hood fur - it was a mess. If I had kept this coat, I would have ripped that out. The wine color was beautiful.
Love the coat. It is soft and warm. Length of coat perfect. Length of sleeves perfect ( a problem for me) Great buy. I've been thinking about a faux fur for awhile … this was a good but. The hook closures are not a big deal. Honestly!!!?? Just different then standard hooks. It does not detract from a beautiful jacket. Ladies, omg this jacket is so stunning! When I opened the package I actually gasped at it's beauty! It it so soft and luxurious looking. The sleeves are nice and long, so that when you raise your arms, they're not exposed like so many jackets do to me. I am 5'6", just under 150lbs, bra size 38 DD and usually a size 10 and I got a medium. It fits well, I may have wanted to go to a large just in case I wear a larger sweatshirt underneath, but I feel like the next size up would have been too big, if that makes sense, so I'm keeping the medium. The inside of the jacket is that satin like material, so it doesn't have much give, which I believe is helpful information when deciding your size. For those reviews talking about the "buttons", honestly, once you get the hang of how they work, it's actually super easy! You can't see them well, but you can find them with your fingers super easy, in my opinion. I hope someone will find this information helpful! Get it while it's on sale!!!!
Got my coat today. It is beautiful and elegant!!!! Lightweight and warm! I don't have a problem with the pockets or the closures! Can't wait to wear it out over and over again!! I agree with other reviews that it can be worn as a casual wear or a dress up for a dinner night out, it is universal! I'm 167 lbs, 5"6 , size L fit me well, got it in black, slimming color!
