Macy's, Please Keep These Sheets !!!

I bought my first set of the Charter Club Opulence sheets in September 2017, and I love them! When I went to purchase the pale lavender ones, they were out of stock, and that is when I realized these sheets are a closeout item! I've since purchased the lavender color in the Fairfield Square Whitney brand, and I do not like them. The Charter Club Opulence brand is much softer, and the quality is so much better! Also, the pillow cases of the Fairfield Square sheets are skimpy -- they barely cover my standard sized pillows. I have been trying for years to find a brand of sheets that I could always count on, and as soon as I find the Charter Club Opulence sheet sets (that I love!), they are being offered as a closeout item. I am so very disappointed!

    Remarkably soft!

I'm a man and who knew I would ever write a review on sheets. I guess I didn't know what I was missing. I researched before finding this deal and let me confirm that this is a quality set. On the label it says 100% Egyptian cotton, made in India. The sheets are absolutely decadent. You won't want to get out of bed. This is one of the reasons I never wanted to be too comfortable in the past. But now I'm getting older, I need a little comfort and luxury!

    My Most Favorite Sheets

I bought these sheets for our bed about a year ago and have used them exclusively since then. I absolutely love their blend of thickness and softness. I've never had a favorite sheet before but I sure do now - thank goodness I wrote down the name/ type so I can reorder exactly the same thing!

    Great for 6 months

I loved these sheets when I first received them - fit was great and loved the cotton. I have four sets for almost a year and I have throw them out - they have shrunk so bad the bottom sheet does not fit anymore and the top sheet is just as bad. I washed and dried them according to the tag and I only have one bed, so they get washed once every four weeks as I own four sets. All four have the same problem. For the price I paid for these, I expect them to last at least a year. I would not recommend these sheets. If you want soft sheets, buy t-shirt sheets.

    Best Sheets We Own

My wife and I purchased these sheets when we moved into our new home, and we are so happy that we did. They are soft, plush and cool to the touch when you slip into bed. You won't find a better set of sheets, as most sheets typically compromise own thread count or cotton type (egyptian>pima>premium cotton), but this set offers a tremendous thread count and the best quality cotton there is egyptian cotton. Do yourself a favor, and purchase these the next time they have a sale.

I read the reviews and thought I would try these sheets. I am trying to outfit a whole house so I need a lot of sheets. These sheets are so thick And not soft at all. I must've gotten a different batch than everybody else. I actually have washed them four times just to see if they would soften up No luck. So sad. I guess the 800 hundred count really doesn't mean much.

It's Not the Same Sheets Anymore

I've been purchasing Macy's Charter Club Egyptian cotton sheets for the past 13 years. These are not their original 800 count 100% Egyptian sheets. They keep changing their manufacture and the quality keeps going down. The last set I bought, this week is totally different (thinner and really wrinkles) from the set I purchased six months ago and entirely different product from 13 years ago, I still have those sheets, they're softer, don't wrinkle, thicker and in perfect condition. Can anyone tell me where I can get the real 800 100% Egyptian cotton sheets?

    Don't Buy

It amazes me some people think these are soft, wonderful sheets. They are anything but soft. I should have paid more attention to the 1 star reviews stating they are scratchy and rough. The reason these sheets are heavy must be the thickness of the threads used. These sheets feel more like muslin sheets of the 50s. One night was all my husband and I could take! Returned next day.
