Heels slipping out

I got a 7 wide but my heel was slipping out of shoes. I ordered a wide so that the front would be spacious and it was. My normal size is 7.5 medium and didn't want to get it as I usually I have trouble with Clarks shoe sizing. The shoes are nice and I like the nubuck/suede material.
