Always wanted to try the smoky eye? Jenna Menard, Clinique's Global Colour Artist, shows you how to get the look step-by-step.
- Start with a medium-tone Lid Smoothie Antioxidant 8-Hour Eye Colour and apply from lashline to crease. It helps powder shadow last longer.
- For a more wearable and modern smoky eye, line the upper lashline only with Quickliner For Eyes Intense. Use the reverse end to smudge, keeping the colour close to the lashes. You want definition, not a hard line.
- Now you're ready for All About Eyes Shadow. Try something other than black -- a soft grey, navy, violet or taupe. The key is to pat and layer the shadow up to the crease. Build the intensity you want, blending well to soften any edges.
- Brush High Lengths Mascara on top lashes. Trace your lower lashline with a little Lid Smoothie, then define with Bottom Lash Mascara.
- Cheeks and lips should complement smoky eyes, not compete. Finish the look with Blushing Blush Powder Blush and Butter Shine Lipstick in shades that look natural on you.
