I have many knives which are high quality, but need to be sharpened. Unfortunately for us my father who was the knife sharpener in the family has been gone for quite a while now. I bought one set of these knives and I swear I am never going back. I bought 6 more sets. Three xtra for me and 3 sets for gifts as needed. As the quality of these knives is beyond exceptional. And with the closing price, cld not go wrong!!!

Although the knives stayed sharp, the chopping/paring knife decorative coloring chipped off after one season of using them. I only hand wash, so the question is, did the color coating come off in food while I was chopping - or while washing.
