I love this bed set, but my only problem I had was how sensitive the fabric is. It started to show a bleaching stain on the top of the bed, which i figured it must be really sensitive to lotion products! Pretty, but doesn't t last long!
Not What I Expected, but Close Enough
Overall, I am happy with my purchase of the Transom bedding in charcoal. However, a few points of caution. I was expecting a more traditional cotton feel to the duvet cover, bed skirt, and pillow shams. Instead, the material feels very satiny - almost like a parachute. Not necessarily bad, just unexpected. One thing I am disappointed about is the color. I expected this set to be a true charcoal/ grey. Instead, it is really more decidedly a greyish brown. I am happy enough with the look and feel of the products to keep them anyway, but I was really looking for more grey.
Beautiful modern bedding!
I have been looking for modern, neutral bedding and brought home three different Hotel Collection sets before finding this bedding. I purchased the queen duvet, standard shams and white euro shams. This was exactly what I was looking for! The charcoal and white is both modern and sophisticated and looks fabulous in our master bedroom. The quality is superb; super soft and cozy. Highly recommend!
Love this set!
I bought the duvet, shams, and the grey sheets along with their primaloft down alternative comforter. It looks so wonderful and feels lovely. I wanted something simple yet classy and very neutral, this was the perfect fit.
Disapointed
I have been obsessing over this bedding for about a year and finally decided to purchase it. As soon as it came I was surprised because the picture online didn't look like the product. The transom charcoal looks light grey online but is actually very dark. Several people I showed thought it was brown. I loved the pima cotton and design but it didn't work and I had to return it.
Finally Bedding I LOVE
I am super picky and I need things to be perfect at home so believe me, if I say this bedding is perfect, I mean it. Buying bedding I like was a struggle, I had to return three different Hotel collections for one or another reason but this is IT! I love it because it makes the design look “younger”, more modern, I would say probably for younger couple. The other collections are stunning too, but this was right for me. The bedding is 100% cotton, make it "breatheable" at night, it is very well made. The best part is that both shams and duvet cover have a zipper, not buttons, it makes it look better on the bed. I had to iron all pieces when I opened the package and ironing was not easy, it took probably over an hour, but the result was great. Yes, it gets a little wrinkly after sleeping, but you can straighten with hands and it looks really good. The picture I am attaching is not great, but you get the point.

for those who have a king size bed, i just received my first King size bed and the bedding i received did not hang over the sides much at all and i thought i would have to buy cal king comforter but i figured out that if i turn it the rite way meaning the other way that it would fit... so turn your comforter/duvet and it will fit... Love Love Love this product...
great duvet set!
I love my new bedding. The color is a little deceiving, I was expecting more of a charcoal and it seems to be more of a very dark taupe-ish grey but it's fine I love the color. At first I thought the sides weren't long enough on my king size bed, but once I flipped it around it works perfectly. (zipper should be on the side of the bed not the top!) The material is kind of satiny and it's soft and comfortable and looks great in our bedroom!
