    Very comfortable Sofa
    Nov 08, 2017

I just received my sofa last week and I love it! It's very comfortable and soft. The mattress is easy to take out and my guests who have slept on it say it's very comfortable. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

    its just OK

We bought both sleep sofa and Love seat at the same time. Its been over a year and its starting to look worn out. But then we use pretty often. Guests have used sleep sofa and there were no complains from their side. I liked its simple and contemporary style but you have to add some cushions to bring more attention to it. I also took out the covers from both seat and cushions and washed in washing machine. All the goo and dirt came off considering I have a toddler who spits and wipes food all the time on the sofa. It took about an hour to slip all the covers back on. Also I noticed the foam were starting to sink in. All in all, I would say its just ok.

    sturdy but uncomfortable seating
    Jun 10, 2015

We purchased this sleeper sofa with the matching chair for a vacation condo rental property. The pieces were huge, but the delivery guys did an amazing job getting them up the stairs into our second-floor unit. We unpacked it and left, so it was used by vacation tenants for five months before we returned to use it. After five month's use, it looks pretty good--the fabric on the seat cushions is a little buckled. Things we like about this sofa: 1) it's a very solid, sturdy construction and looks great; 2) the color (sage) is nice and the fabric looks good; 3) nice contemporary design and 4) the reversible seat and loose back cushions. . Things we do not like about this sofa: when we bought it, the store did not have a floor model of the sleeper sofa, so we only sat on the regular model, which was very comfortable, and the chair is comfortable. The sleeper sofa has 2 serious design flaws: 1) the mattress mechanism is higher in the back than in the front, so that when you sit on the sofa, you always feel like you're sliding off the front--VERY uncomfortable; 2) there is a gap of about 2" in front of the mechanism when it's folded up and the cushions fall down into that gap deforming them, so that if you reverse them (a main reason for having reversible cushions) the other side is misshapen. I remedied this problem by inserting a 3" thick strip of high density foam (about 6.5" deep) across the front of the sofa. It has a strip of fabric that covers the front of the mattress mechanism, so the foam doesn't show--but it does stick up a little above the front of the frame. The helps prevent the deforming of the cushions and it partly corrects the feeling of sliding forward (but not completely). Macy's needs to have floor models of the sleeper sofas so purchasers can test sitting on them. We've not used the mattress, so we don't know how it feels to sleep on it yet.

Sleeper sofa for small home with no extra rooms
    Jun 09, 2015

On rare occasions I have guests, despite the small size of my home. This sofa offers the perfect style, quality, and functionality for me! I've had it for a couple of years now and it still looks great! I occasionally rotate and flip the cushions. The mattress is more or less what you would expect from a basic sleeper sofa mattress. It is functional, but will not replace a REAL bed. I love my sofa and hope to have it for a very long time!

Might have like it. The Grain color had a serious greenish tint.

    Poor quality

After reading the great reviews I purchased this Sofa Bed for our large master bedroom so we can have our kids stay in our room to give up their bedrooms for guests when our large family visits. It looks great, although the sage color is more a sea foam green than sage. It seemed comfortable to sit on at first but after three weeks it began to sag and now the entire interior is resting on the floor. Basically the guts fell out and we never even used it to sleep on. It is rarely sat on since it is in our master bedroom. Macy's was great and sent a service tech out who said he doesn't see anything wrong with it...nothing broken, just a bad design. I can't imagine what it would do to wood floors if it were in a living room. Anyway Macy's customer service has been great and has given us a return authorization and will pick it up when we choose something else to be delivered. I would stay away from this one. Customer service and service tech say it must be a bad design.

Love love love it. I'm so happy w/ this purchase. It looks good in the living room and doesn't over power the room. Very comfortable; I've already taken a nap on it. My grands come this weekend for the summer so I'll let you know how the sofa bed works.
