It's great that it has so many choices. Frozen waffles did not burn using the defrost button, it was excellent! I luv all my cuisinart products.
highly disappointed
My husband and I received the 4 slice toaster as a wedding present. After 8 months, the right handle broke and won't stay down to toast anything. The heating element simply stopped working after very light use. While the left side still works, it toasts horribly. It leaves one side of the toast burnt while the other appears untouched by the heat. I expected more from the cuisinart brand and would not recommend this product.
Does what it say it does...with style
I own the two slot model. If you are looking for a toaster to make bagels and toast for one or two people, and if you want something sleek and stylish and maybe a little retro, then this is it. Plain and simple, it does what it says it will do. It won't change your life, but it will make you breakfast and it will look great doing it. If it's in your budget, buy it.
Fantastic Toaster
This stylish appliance looks great in my stainless steel kithchen! The functionality is great, too! We use it every day for either toast, waffles and bagels. I love that it's not square like the old toaster I had before it. The adjustable settings allow for perfect toasting every use. And....it's on sale!
Wonderful Toaster
I love this toaster, it is so far it is best toaster I have owned. I like that it has different settings, and the look if it. It fits in with my other small appliances, with it's stainless steel appearance. My son says, there is a little bit of a curve when getting used to it. But I haven't had that problem yet. I love this toaster, and recommend it to everyone.
A great toaster that looks nice, too.
I love my Cuisinart 4-slice toaster. It matches the other Cuisinart appliances that I have on my kitchen counter top. I don't mind leaving them out because they look so nice. Also, the fact that it makes 4 slices at once is great for my large family. If Cuisinart ever came out with a 6-slice toaster I would definitely buy it.
I bought the 4 slice model and it is so nice. When you have a large family and you need to make a lot of toast in a short amount of time, this is the model for you. I own all Cuisinart stuff and this look great on my kitchen counter with my other collection. I usually don't like toasters out, but this is a nice looking toaster that you don't mind sitting on your counter.
Great if you like BURNT toast
I registered for the double toaster and received it as a wedding gift. We were very excited about it until we actually used it. I thought it was just first time use issues, but 2.5 years later it still burns every item we try to toast in it unless it is set at 1. I have tried both sides of the toaster too. It's not one or the other. Put a bagel in at the 3-4 setting (middle) and you will get a BLACK bagel to the point it isn't edible. I would expect that at the highest setting, but not the middle. AND forget frozen waffles... you will have a cold center with a charred outside. It also toasts unevenly-- one side is much darker than the other (even at a 2). DO NOT PURCHASE OR REGISTER FOR THIS TOASTER. Find another option.
