The Kettle with Mettle

I now understand why the NYT Wirecutter has raved about this kettle for years. It is a great design and functions perfectly. Love how it is lightweight and holds water at your selected temp for 30 minutes.

I already used this Kettle when I visited my son's house to make my morning tea. So excited to get the same kettle for a birthday present. Works quickly and efficiently as before to make my morning tea. Love it.

Great so far.

After using a glass kettle for years, this one seems to require a lot less maintenance. It doesnt show fingerprints and keeps the water warm. I didnt expect it to be that hot to the touch though, but that's on me - i thought it was insulated/ double walled (because of higher cost).

Holds up to multiple daily uses

I decided it was time to get rid of my cheap, plastic kettle and go for a stainless steel one. This has been worth the investment: no leaks, does not require as much cleaning as the old one but does clean up nicely with a simple vinegar boil to remove any residue that starts to accumulate. Heats up quickly, stays hot for a long time, can use the "keep warm" function or turn it off. Holds a lot of water.

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT

I love it. Use it several times a day for coffee and tea. Just a word of caution the outside if the pot gets very hot but the handle is accommodating to lift a full pot.

Not the quality it used to be

I have bought Cuisant electric tea kettles for many years. They used to last a long time. My latestest one lasted 5 months and the one prior to this one lasted barely 2 years. I like all the featuress but am diappointed with the quality
