    Best purchase I ever made
    Oct 13, 2021

This is the best machine I ever bought. There is nothing like homemade ice cream with fresh cut fruit of any kind with heavy cream and a dash of vanilla and salt.. So easy to make. I followed a simple recipe rather than the book. I use the simple recipe of vanilla then add whatever I want to flavor, like real cocao, strawberries from my garden, etc. Makes a half gallon; saved ice cream carton from store to store homemade ice cream. This machine is fun for kids and encourages them to eat organic home grown food rather than sugar. Use Himalayan salt not white as it will provide many mineral; table salt is toxic.

    Fantastic Ice Cream Maker
    Sep 17, 2021

I love this ice cream maker! I never knew making delicious, healthy ice cream could be so easy! Since we got it a few weeks ago, we have made about six different types of ice cream. We make it low sugar by using some sugar substitutes and have figured out how to add delicious chocolate pieces/mix-ins. My husband made a chocolate avocado ice cream that was delicious. My kids finish off the ice cream within a few days but because I know exactly what ingredients it contains, I know what they're getting is better for them than what we could purchase in the store. I keep my mixing bowl in the freezer so anytime we get the urge, we can whip up a recipe within 10 minutes then pop it in the mixing bowl for 25 minutes of churning. For an ice cream with a cooked base, it needs to be cooled for a few hours, but the hands-on time is still minimal!

    Ice cream every week!
    Sep 14, 2021

Makes good ice cream quickly. Ice cream on the edges and bottom is really hard. I learned if I start the paddle a little before I pour the mixture in it’s more evenly frozen

Is homemade ice cream worth the noise?
    Sep 12, 2021

Good ice cream maker but so noisy I had to leave the house while it was on. Perhaps it was just this unit, but I had to return due to the noise.

Cuisinart 2 Quart Ice Cream Maker
    Sep 09, 2021

Love it! It has been so much fun and so much FASTER than I could have ever imagined. I've already talked two folks at my office into buying these. I'm making so many different kinds of ice cream and gelato now. My next task will be perfecting frozen yogurt! Great purchase!

This is a nice unit, does a really good job and producing smooth ice cream and other frozen treats. It’s 5-stars worthy. Only note is that it’s noisy. Making ice cream is really easy and fast so buyers just need to be aware of it.

Poor lid design of this model of mixer
    Sep 06, 2021

The lid on top is a major pain to keep on. The locking tab a WAY to small. You have to physically hold it on till the ice cream starts getting thicker. If not it keeps popping off. The lid was poorly designed for sure. We ended up having to use a strap to hold it on
