HOT STUFF

If you are longing for a truly hot cup of coffee from a single serve coffee maker, this is your go to appliance. Over the years I have tried numerous automated machines, nothing comes close. Of course good water and coffee make the perfect cup, but what good is it if it is lukewarm. Definitely, a keeper.

Recent Coffee brewer replacement

Previous brewer lasted 12 years. Brewed faster and was built heavier than this replacement. Thought we were getting same machine. Not quite the quality of previous machine. Had a Kurieg in between that quit in less than 3 months. Hope this one lasts 12 years again. Have our doubts so far.

Coffeemaker defective

Terrible coffeemaker. Very noisy and vibrated loudly. Had to return. Macy was very good about returning the coffeemaker and crediting my account.

Works well

This is easy to use and makes good coffee, and it has the hot water function which is great for tea and hot chocolate. It's a little noisy, but all of these machines seem to be. It comes with a reusable filter which tucks into the side of the maker - a great feature - and also works with other reusable filters. I'm happy with it so far!

Loud and Dirty

This is my first Cuisinart product. My husband generously got it for me for Christmas. The first thing I noticed was how loud it was. Once I pushed “Brew,” it was just oddly loud. Almost sounds like it’s broken. Watching the coffee come down into my mug, it wasn’t a steady flow like I’m used to. I was also noticing grinds in my coffee once it brewed. I cleaned the top today where I put the K-Cup and it was a mess with coffee grind residue and it was difficult to clean. If I had purchased this myself, I’d probably return it. But since it was a gift, I’m going to tolerate the things I don’t like about this product.

Sorry I purchased!

Thinking I could still use my favorite Ground coffee, because the item comes with a pod holder for ground coffee, I made the purchase.... Actually ordered 2 more pods and POD filters. I love Cuisinart products, and this also has a hot water feature! (That I really wanted!) Using the pods with ground coffee was a nightmare. I tried everything, and the hot coffee still came out with grounds in every cup I made. I gave up and bought pods. They're expensive, and heated in plastic. I threw the Cuisinart box away or I would take it back in a heartbeat. I don't want to start my mornings like this. I'm giving it away and I'm going to buy the Cuisinart "Coffee on Demand" that I had before. Skip the hot water!
