I love that it has an oval lamp shade because I haven’t come across that before. If the base gets dirty it’s easy and quick to wipe off.

The knob turns easily to turn it off and on. The cord is the perfect size. I put it on my end table next to where I sit. I really love it and I would definitely recommend it.

It is perfect for reading by and doesn't off set or put glare on the television set. It sits just a couple of feet away from and at the same level as the television. It is light weight and doesn't overpower the table or location. The oblong shade makes it great for our narrow side tables. Perfect fit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very "trendy" lamp and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality. It is not heavy but does have some weight to it so it stays put when my two labs run through the living room hitting everything with their tails. The shade that came with the lamp is an oval so it sits on my side table up against the wall well. The color in the photos make the lamp and shade look like a cream/tan color but it was stark white.
