I got mine in black a year ago. The material feels lighter than my other wool coats but it gives me warmth and comfort, and of course a classy look. I always get flattering comments everytime I have it on! I really like the standing ruffle collar bacause I don't need to wear a scarf, plus it gives that girly look.
I found this to be exactly what I needed for work to add a feminine touch while running around at work. It is not for the coldest of days, but it is perfect for a semi cold, not outside too long day! HA Nice.....the buttons did not concern me as I wanted this coat for a lighter dress up coat for work.
I actually have the black one and I dearly love this coat. It goes perfectly with my slacks and just great for winter. Love the way it looks. I would definitely buy another one.
I purchased the winter white. What a beautiful coat and what compliments I have received! It is classy, unique and very feminine. If you want to make a statement when you walk in the room, this is the coat. It fits beautifully and I am going to order the black one now!
This coat did run true to size it was tight and very light for a winter coat, I purchased the charcoal and was greatly disappointed.
It looks very elegant and classy, but it is far from it! The material looks SO cheap, the ugly cheap buttons is something i could have dealt with and if you're looking for a WINTER coat, then this is NOT for you. Unless you've seen this in person, i recommend NOT to order this online...it is not worth the money! Trust me, i was super excited about this coat! : (
I bought in black. Sharp & classic. Looks great with colored accessories. True to fit. Can't wait to wear with my long black boots!
I have a very cute lightweight jacket and I was looking for a similarly cute style jacket that was a bit heavier and warmer to wear over dresses for fall/warmer winter days in the northeast. I wasn’t sure if I should get this based on the mixed reviews but I ordered the black in a size 4 (which is my normal size) and it fits great. A size 6 prob would have fit fine (though loose) if I had wanted to put a lot of layers under it. It is a very flattering feminine cut, and looks really elegant all buttoned up. (I have tried many more expensive coats at other places and this was just as nice if not nicer fit wise) And yes the buttons are large and they could have improved on this for sure, but you could easily put a scarf on to cover the buttons if you didn't like them and want to wear the jacket opened with the buttons showing. I tried the jacket on for a few friends and they all thought it looked great.
