Ultralight 16 OZ Coffee Press

I typically use a cleaver dripper to brew my coffee. I have traveled several times and couldn’t pack my setup so I decided to try this out. Side by side comparison Espro is easier to clean up, keeps warm on its own, and tastes better. Think I may be switching out my dripper for a larger one of these. Very lightweight and sturdy.

Love the filter but what really impressed me was the customer service! I had trouble with the delivery and ESPRO reached out to me first! Then resent the package and I received it. I really appreciated the care they took to make sure I got the package.

I invested in a few of these during the crowdfunding cycle. I have owned countless thermoses in my lifetime but I have always sought something 1) lighter weight, 2) with better heat retention. This thermos is 5 stars for weight, but needs serious retooling to solve some lid problems. There are not many threads for the lid, so one of two things typically happens - 1) the hot liquid forms some kind of vacuum seal around the lid, making it near impossible to remove the lid and when you do, often spilling it all over yourself, or 2) you try not to seal the lid as tightly to avoid problem #1, and it leaks through the lid. This is an aggravating daily issue I have with this thermos, and if this was solved, this would be a 5 star review. I have used the press feature and it works just like the P7 press in a small format, but I don't enjoy trying to clean all the grounds out of this long narrow tube so I typically use it for a brewed liquid. Things I do love - the narrow body which is comfortable for small hands, the giant handle which is very ergonomic and clippable to your bag, and the quality you come to expect from Espro.

My son loves that he can use it at home, camping, and college. It’s light and keeps the coffee hot for ages. Note: It recommends 18-22 grams of coffee grams. That’s about 3 Tbsp

This is perfect for the camper who loves coffee. I bought this for my son who camps and hikes and wants to save on space! He loves it!

I love this press! I use this daily for my cup at home. Like everyone says, it makes a clean cup of coffee due to the filters. The best point to me is the vacuum insulation. Not because it keeps the coffee hot for a long time; I drink the 11 oz within an hour. The insulation ensures that the water temperature stays hot throughout the brew cycle extracting all of the sweeter notes in the coffee. I own the P1 and the P3; 205 deg water poured into the P1 remains above 200 deg throughout the brew cycle. Brew water in the P3, falls just below 195 deg, even after preheating. Although this may seem like a minor difference, there is a difference in taste. The P3 makes an excellent cup of coffee however, the finish from the P0 is unbelievable every time! I have just ordered a P7 looking for the same performance in a large press.
