Not what we expected from Macy's. Not a good purchase, the quality is not there and no way 1400 thread count.

Not soft for the "thread count" listed. We haven't found any sheets as smooth feeling since our Wamsutta Supercale and believe they were 400 thread count. The bottom of the top sheet has pilled badly so we use the other side but now it is pilling as well. The only thing good about these sheets is the fit. I should have waited to buy my 2nd set to make sure these were acceptable. Bad decision.

These shrike on 1st wash. Does not fit my 14in deep mattress. When I wake each morning the fitted sheet is no longer attached to 1 or 2 corners of the bed.

These sheets feel like cardboard. Very disappointed with this purchase. Do not buy (unless you find cardboard comfortable).

The sheets are a beautiful shade of blue and soft... would buy them again!

I think it's time to start offering the fabric weight and not just the thread count to avoid the annoyance of having to fulfill an order the customer can only return for a refund. These sheets are 2/3 the weight of an 800 thread count sheet I bought from Macy's about eight years ago. Two stars for the great ordering experience and service, but this product testifies to the fact that thread count is highly misleading these days.
