Disappointing durability
Under fairly light use on some thinner rose bush branches, the pruners now won't reopen. I'm not sure if there was a spring inside that has come loose or what, but I have to manually re-open them each time I want to make a cut. Frustrating.

The Traditional Bypass Pruner does rely on an internal spring mechanism to reopen after each cut. If the pruners aren’t reopening on their own, it’s possible the spring has shifted or become dislodged. Checking the pruner for any visible signs of spring displacement or damage is a good first step. If the spring is intact but not functioning properly, cleaning and lubricating the pivot area can sometimes help. Replacement parts problem
I have owned two of these bypass pruners for several years and have had no luck getting a replacement locking screw from Fiskars. My most recent warranty request came back asking me to ship the tools back to them at my expense for them to review. I have sent them photos of both tools and all I want are two locking screws to be sent to me so they can honor their "lifetime warranty"

Dull dull dull

Easy to use!
Finally, the perfect pair of shears. I love these. I have fairly small hands so many shears are cumbersome or hard to squeeze to get the correct leverage to cut larger twigs. these are great and make yardwork so much easier. I highly recommend them.

WOHOO!
I tend to use some scissors to prune my plants and shrubs. But these came in handy! They are easy to use, lightweight, strong, and durable. These have fallen out of my pockets, tool box, and have been left out in the rain and they work like new!

Love this for the garden!
I love this for the garden! This is perfect for the garden! I used this to prune the tomatoes and cucumbers and other vegetables that I have outside. It works perfectly for this and it would work great for bushes too! I like that it is easy to handle. It also has a lifetime warranty which is great. I would recommend this to family and friends.

Perfect
I picked these up to help as I clean up the trees around my property. They are strong and get the job done without much effort required. They surprise me with how thick of limbs they are actually able to but through. Very nice!
