Great chocolate — don’t buy in summer, though.

I’ve loved Franco mints since I was a child growing up in. Chicago. They still taste good , but do not ship well in hot weather — they often arrive melted and Macys does nothing to prevent this and helps little if you report the problem.

A delicious melty mess!!

I've been a fan of Macy's Chocolates for years, but find it difficult to go to the strip to purchase them. When I saw the Mother's Day special online I thought it was the perfect way to get two boxes (one for a gift,one for me!), and avoid the hassle of the strip. Well, what didn't occur to me was that shipping chocolates in Las Vegas is not possible! They arrived completely melted into a goopy soup with paper cups dispersed throughout!!! It was a mess! After refrigerating for a couple of hours it became a solid block of delicious chocolate with paper cups solidified intermittently! Hilarious yet with a little work and patience, delicious! Obviously I couldn't gift the other box and assume I can't return it, so I'm still deciding about what to do. Suggestions?!

Other occasion to buy:Bought 2 boxes of Frango mints. One for me and one as a gift. I opened mine - melted into a single sheet of chocolate. So thankful I opened before giving as a gift.

Frango chocolates never delivered and UPS says

Please help. UPS last update was that this would be delivered last week (in time for Mother’s Day) it never showed up. UPS status hasn’t changed since Wednesday. UPS won’t let me file the lost claim - it says macys has to.

The best ever

I grew up 4 blocks from the Evanston Marshal Fields. I don’t think they had Frango mints in the early 60’s but once I tasted them I have been a big fan. Times have changed and now it’s Macy’s Frango mints. The only thing that has changed is the name, still the best ever.
