This dress would have been a super cute, flowy, springtime dress would it not for the ridiculously "slim" inward cut of the sides of the bodice. The sides slope so far inward that 3/4 of my already smallish breasts were hanging out the sides (not an issue that I usually have to contend with). Sadly (but unhesitatingly) returned.

Just when I think I may have Free People sizing figured out, I have to start all over. Free People is the hardest brand for me to buy online because it seems like each garment is sized differently. I bought this dress in two colors, the neutral combo color & the ivory combo color & I like both. I'm so glad I took the other reviewers' advice about sizing up. I wear an XS in the majority of Free People clothing but I ordered a Medium in this dress & it fit well, just slightly long for my tastes. Very frequently I have to size up two sizes just so that I can get the bodice of the dress to fit or to have enough bodice coverage. For fit reference: I'm 5'5, 125lbs, 34d bust, 27" waist & 34" hips. If you have larger than a B cup bra I would strongly advise sizing up at least one size in order to get enough bodice coverage. The bodice is cut very small & narrow on this dress. The rest of the dress doesn't change proportionately when one sizes up to get the bodice coverage; going up two sizes only seemed to widen the bodice enough for the dress to fit me, but nothing else seemed to get larger except maybe the length increased but that was not by much. This is a pretty, breezy dress that flows nicely & the material isn't transparent or thin. As is usual for Free People, the colors in person are not nearly as vibrant & saturated as they appear in the pictures; the colors are more muted.

I ordered this dress in blue combo. It was supposed to look like the ivory combo with flowers on it. When it came in the mail it was a blue, purple, pink paisley print. Ugly! I'll be returning it.

I did not find the style or design very complimenting at all. I think if it were shorter I would have liked it more. Then again, it takes a certain type of figure to fit this style dress.

I saw this Free People dress (mustard) in the store but purchased it online. Beautiful print and colors that compliment most complexions. The dress is a perfect fit and true to size. Dress up or down with flip-flops. Received many compliments and inquiries.

This dress is wonderful! Super soft comfortable material, stretch in waistband. I got the black color which will serve as a nice transition piece into fall and will look great with booties and leather jacket. I need to wear with a strapless bra because of the Y back

The fabric that makes this dress is lovely. Unfortunately for me, the fit was not great or flattering. Could have used a little more coverage on top. The halter portion of this dress is very narrow. I usually wear an x-small in Free People, in this dress a small.

Runs small for Free People. Only 4 stars because the fabric is very sheer, delicate and hand wash only
