I've only heard wonderful things about Frye boots but I am really disappointed. They don't make my size (10.5), so I had to assume that an 11 would fit, but they were WAY too big and have ZERO traction. None! I slid on my carpet when walking around the house.

Still on search for good quality boots. My foot wouldn't even go in. The area around the ankle is so narrow, could not even put them on. I use an 8.5 wide sized shoes, so if you have wide wet, these boots will not fit. Back they go! :(

This was my first Frye boots, and I just loved it so much!! it's so comfortable! I usually wear 7.5 size (sometimes 7), but this one runs a little bit large, so I ordered 7. it's just perfect!!

I really like the quality and the color of these boots- I am sort of tired of all the black leather boots that are available. They are just a very tiny bit narrow on the top of my foot and I have narrow feet but I think I am keeping them.

LOVE these boots, though no way these are wide calf. The leather is of great quality, the color is absolutely stunning and great craftsman ship, but the shaft runs small.

I really wanted to keep these boots but unfortunately the fit around the ankle was very saggy and did not look good. They fit true to size and width, but the absence of a zipper means the ankle is cut wide and does not taper down. This caused the calf to fit well but the ankle to bunch up. I returned them. Otherwise the quality and the leather are beautiful.

The picture in the website does not do these boots justice. These Frye Boots are just stunning. The color and the craftsmanship are outstanding. These boots will last a long time because of their quality. I highly recommend them!
