Chilling
As someone who bought this book because I have the same struggles Charlie has in this book; I feel so connected and seen. This book beautifully portrays what recovery looks and feels like so much and you'll never read anything that meets this level of beauty. I finished it in 4 days which is surprising because I haven't voluntarily picked up a book in 5 years. But I couldn't put this down.

An 10th graders opinion
In this book a girl named Charlie is struggling with self-harm and trauma. She had been staying in a psychiatric hospital because she attempted suicide. But the book begins with her getting released from the hospital. When she got released she found herself homeless and battling through additions. Throughout the book she try’s to find comfort in other people who deal with similar mental health issues, but these people say thing and guide her through her journey. Even though she had these great friends to help comfort and guide her, she soon found a passion for art, she used art as a way of expressing herself and a way of therapy. Charlie soon finds ways to fight her demons and thoughts and finally finds her belonging in the world. I feel like Kathleen Glasgow did a great job on this novel, she made sure to keep everything in detail, she really put life into all the characters, she made the book to where you sort of feel the emotion of Charlie and her friends. What’s my opinion? This book brings out great emotion, when reading this book I felt strong emotion for the characters . I feel like Kathleen did a fantastic job on the details in this book, she really brought it to life. I give this book a five out of five because I can connect with the book, even though I didn’t go through what Charlie did, i’ve been through the mental health issues. I would recommend this book to young adult, or people who deal with mental health issues. I think this book can also be a good book for people that don’t like to read, this book keeps a hold of your attention and will make you want to read more, i’m not much of a reader, I usually don’t like to read but, I can’t wait to read the next book by Kathleen Glasgow

Absolutely Beautiful
This book is extremely relatable. Glasgow's books are just incredible and beautifully written. I will say that there are a lot of characters and it was hard for me to comprehend due to my dyslexia, but I managed :). I also feel like you need a certain mindset to read this book, make sure you check the trigger warnings, and I'd also make sure you aren't to young, due to the mature topics that are talked about. I truly do love this book, and I'm already starting to reread it.

Wow wow wow
It's not easy for a book to become a 5star for me, but this boom absolutely took me away. I've never felt more seen regarding mental illness and such like I did with this book. It was absolutely brilliant and I wish I could go back and read it for the first time again. I'll think about it till the day I die.
