another book dropped off to good will

There are numerous documented concerns regarding Ms. Gerard’s approach to recipe creation and content sharing. She has a well-known reputation for repurposing other creators’ recipes, making minor alterations, and failing to credit the original sources. This lack of transparency is troubling, as it misleads her audience and disrespects the hard work of fellow culinary professionals. Additionally, her audience frequently reports that her recipes do not work as described, leading to wasted ingredients, time, and money. Instead of taking accountability, she often shifts the blame onto her followers, further demonstrating an unwillingness to engage with constructive feedback.

Great addition

4.5 stars. Once again the author brings us recipes with just a bit more panache than the standard fare. Cinnamon Roll Bread with Chai Frosting, Rosemary-Peach Bruschetta Chicken, and Sheet Pan Cuban Steak with Avocado Chimichurri are just a few examples. Lots of pictures, notes from the author, and a well done index will make this book a great addition for adventurous cooks.

Loved the Half Bake and Super Simple

I work at a Library and brought this book home to review. There were so many recipes that fit my requirements of easy, few ingredients and one hour or less to prepare, that I had to have it in my collection. The Instant Chicken Gumbo was amazing. I also love the recipes that give you options for preparing - stove top, oven, crock pot.

The BEST cookbook

I got this book for Christmas this year, and I'm loving it! I've followed the author's IG account for a long time now, and she is by far my favorite account to follow for cooking. I was a very green home cook when I began following her, and I can say from experience that her recipes are truly super simple. They turn out amazing and have given me a ton of confidence in my cooking skills. This book is beautiful and filled with delicious recipes. Highly recommend!
