Love this ice cream maker
Love this ice cream maker. It is time consuming to make the ice cream - i.e. you have to freeze the bowl overnight (I froze my for almost 24 hours) , and you have to chill the ice cream mixture overnight (recommended 1 hour, but I chilled mine overnight),and once made, and transferred to another container, you should freeze it for a couple of hours. So yes, it does take some preparation time, but so what. As long as you don't mind the preparation, you will be well rewarded with delicious ice cream. I just finished making Rocky Road, and it tasted better than Baskin Robbins.
