Aquarium water smell
Great humidifier! Great for allergy sufferers. My only thing I notice is I was my machine and refill but today I notice a fish tank water smell ( to me) so I put baking soda in it and started shaking it back and forth and this is what kept coming out the hole. Look at pictures. I added vinager and still the same smell. Shaking it back n forth and dumping the sediments out! Lastly I plugged it back in and the room smell like the aquarium water! So I’m gonna have to buy a new one I guess! Over a year now someone bought it as a gift from here.
Great model, use it daily.
I bought an earlier generation of this model, and it does output a good amount of mist. For maintenance, I mostly rinse and lightly scrub it every few weeks. The fan makes noise when it needs re-oiling and I used to deal with fans on my old desktop computer, and I learned 3-in-1 oil or sewing machine oil is great for these kinds of fans (just peel back the paper and give it 3-5 drops), but I do have to dismantle the bottom of the humidifier to get to it. It has lasted us probably 5 years now, being oiled about once a year. If I could find a replacement fan, I'd just keep using the old model until the membrane dies. We have tried humidifiers from other brands, but they don't output as much as this one.

Perfect Size
The size of this humidifier is perfect and does its job perfectly. It even has a little night light setting.
Best I've ever owned
I suffer with COPD and in the cold Northeast winters a humidifier helps tremendously. I've had this humidifier for about 4 years. It is without any doubt or hesitation whatsoever the best humidifier I've ever owned. It is quiet, amazingly clean and effective. I do add some isopropyl rubbing alcohol to the water every time I fill the tank that may help in maintaining the cleanliness. I just banged it and it began to make an odd noise when running and it's not misting, my fault for dropping it. But I'm here to order another one. I've had a number of humidifiers over many years. I hated cleaning them and changing the filters which became disgustingly filthy after only a relatively short time. But this machine manages to do away with cleaning and it mists effectively. Being retired I wish it cost less but overall it's a darn good investment.

Can't get rid of Mold!
Bought and used one winter. Now I can't get rid of the mold this is on inside vents and parts unreachable. Can't clean, can't use. Don't buy.

Great product
I have it now for about 2 years. its very quite, and the noise was my number one priority when choosing humidifier. So I am very happy with it. comparable to other cheap breands - this one doesnt grow mold. in 2 years period I clean it from mold may be a few times only. so overall its a great product!!!
Excellent humidifier
I'm happy with this purchase. I suffer from asthma and a nagging cough. The humidifier helps me to sleep well and comfortable throughout the night. I certainly enjoy the fresh air I breath. No dry air any more.
Terrible!
It smells like mold constantly even after using bleach to clean it out with!!! I’ve tried everything possible and still smells like mold after even one nights use!! I would like my money back!! I’ve only had it for a month..
