Good Purchase for $$
Haven't had a chance to wear it, but needed a jacket that was a little dressier than my goretex, but not your traditional beige trench. Picked this jacket up in-store during Macy's additional discount sale weekends. Excellent buy! Sometimes, you never know the gems you will find.
Damaged after a week
I was so excited about this trench. I read all the reviews, the price was perfect, and I loved it when I tried it on. The weight is perfect, I loved the faux leather detailing. But after less than a week of wear, the inner button has already popped off (I ordered a size up so I had room to layer) and the interior of the front pocket has torn large enough I can't put anything in it. Though both easy fixes, I'm now concerned about the overall quality. I bought the trench to replace my previous one that had finally ripped after 10 years, and had been hoping to have this another 10. After a week, I'm no longer hopeful.

I really love this coat, the color combination, the weight, and it fits me very well. I am glad I bought it.
Returning It, But Not Sure Why
This coat should have been a slam-dunk for me. The style, the black trim, the color- let me tell you, I look awesome in this color- but for some reason, this coat wasn't flattering at all on me and I'm not sure why. The coat itself is nice. It's a heavier material than the usual trench, more of a poly-knit than I expected, but I like it and it should wash well. I almost kept it and shoved it in the wash anyway because it was so cute, but I'm glad I waited and thought about it (I always wash new clothes before wearing to remove the finish chemicals, and we never buy the new no-iron cottons because they are bathed in a formaldehyde/chemical formula that is meant to stay on, like I want that on my skin. Eew!) The coat is cold water wash/hang dry and should wash wonderfully (I studied fabrics for my first degree). The style is darling, but I'm wondering if maybe the top is too big for me, which is a problem sometimes (never seems to be a problem with my bottom, however!) I'm a curvy 8 -10, 36C and ordered a medium. I generally think of INC as running small, as I have had to buy some of their tops in large, but this could be the one time something runs big (in complete contrast, I have a Karen Scott sweater that ran so big I had to buy an XS! Men never have these problems buying clothes.) The sleeves were almost a bit too long, which is also never a problem for me, so maybe that means it really is too big. I'd love to try a small, but I wish I could just try it on at the store and not have to order again. Unfortunately, my store never has much of a selection, plus I can't shop there too long, as the perfume section overwhelms the entire bottom floor and makes me sick (seriously Macy's, get some ventilation). So I guess I'll have to pass on the coat, but I really like it, even if it does look lousy on me.

This coat is lightweight, sleek, chic, and very comfortable. The price is nice also.

Love the trendy look to wear with ease. Usually I don't by belted Items. This coat has a very nice fit and I enjoy the double breasted look
