I'm 5'4". 115lbs and these were not flattering on me at all. You would have to be either extremely thin or very tall to pull these off. I wanted to love them but had to send them back.

I bought this item for my teenage daughter
She loves it, when she tried it on the first thing she said was that it was a perfect fit, that she like the way they made the strap design different in the back, and how the sides come all the way up higher underneath your arm; thumbs up to the designer.

not for hour glass
These are well made jeans, not too heavy or thick and true to size. The pictures are quite accurate in color. The flare starts to break right under the knees, which is a more modern take on the flares. I have an hour glass shape and struggled to pull on even with the side zip all the way open. These jeans in a size 25 made my 34" hips and 19" thighs look huge. Even wearing high heels does not correct the proportions, so I had to return them. That said, Joe's did a great job in the tush area. My back side looked fantastic! I don't have too many ideas how to style these jeans, but white T-shirts like pictured definitely work. To dress up, white shirts with a feminine shoulder line such as ruffles and cap sleeves will look nice. Wide white and black stripe tops in similar cuts will probably work even better. Wear with wedge sandals or pumps with chunky heels. Although categorized as flare, these are not truly flare jeans and not meant to cover your shoes. Bootcut is a more accurate description. Before you fork over the money though, do think about how many wears you will get out of these jeans given the inconvenience in the bathrooms and that these jeans are likely not going to be an iconic, carry-forward style (i.e., timeless and transcending trends). If you have straight legs or a straight body type and if these jeans fit your lifestyle well enough for you to foresee a lot of wear out of them, by all means go for it. Finally, the tag on the jeans showed that they were made in Mexico instead of USA. Bloomingdale's, please correct your item description.

I love these overalls.... a slim but flattering fit. True to size......very comfortable These jeans are an updated overall style with flare leg instead of a skinny leg........flatters most figures
