Waffle Blanket
Blanket is very soft and a great value for the money
Best to buy for Full bed not Queen
This blanket is very soft and comfortable but once washed dies not fit a queen bed properly.
Poor quality, I thought after washing it could get softer, but it didn't, very rough.
Waffle Grid Blanket
Waffle Grid blanket is exactly as offered and what I was wanting. The fabric does not feel scratchy. It's just right for a coolish night, used together with a quilt or comforter.

soft and fresh
I have another cotton blanket from Eddie Bauer and that one is super soft but this one is cooler for summer nights and still comfortable, the difference might be a little percentage of polyester in the Bauer. I love both of them, but for hot summer nights I choose my waffle.

It does not feel like the paper of sand
I love to wrap myself in this blanket and think of the other reviewer as it caresses my bare skin with it's gentle tickles. It's a cotton blanket. Cotton gets softer with every wash. Even straight out of the package, it was softer than I expected a new cotton blanket to be. It's exactly the kind of blanket I was looking for- cotton and well made. My only complaint would be the price, but considering that this will last for many years as long as the dog doesn't eat it, it's worth it. If it falls apart after a few washes, I've paid a lot of money for a dog blanket.
If you like sandpaper this blanket is for YOU!
The blanket is very well constructed & washed/dried decently, however, I HATE the texture and this cotton is horrid against my skin. It feels so rough and abrasive, like literal sandpaper. It's so bad that the sensation stays with you several minutes after not being under this blanket. It's truly awful and such a shame because it's otherwise very well made. The cotton used for this is absolutely very low grade low quality cotton. Though I should be surprised coming form a brand name such as Kenneth Cole, it's really no surprise as everything these days made of the worst materials for maximum profits and more and more brands are using questionable labor practices as well to cut costs beyond the materials.
