Gift

Arrived damaged

I’m very disappointed with this purchase. The mixer arrived with significant damage, both KitchenAid boxes were gashed and the unit itself has a visible paint defect in the same area. The shipping box was intact, so this clearly wasn’t a transit issue but a quality control failure. The color is also not as advertised. It appears slightly glossy online, but in reality it’s a dull matte finish. For the price and brand, this level of quality and presentation is not acceptable. I ultimately had to return the item, which created additional work and inconvenience, and left me without a mixer in the end. Overall, this experience fell well below expectations for a product at this price point.

We received this under warranty for a defective stand mixer and this one doesn't work right either. On the first 2 speeds it jumps. Something is wrong with the gear box. We have only used it a couple times and every time it makes clunking noises.

Job Well Done

I've been wanting to get a Kitchenaid stand mixer for a long time but I waited until my old stand mixer (not a Kitchenaid) to break down. And when it did, hubby bought me the Kitchenaid hand mixer first to see if would really like the brand before spending a lot of money on a new stand mixer. I did love the hand mixer so much and lo and behold, hubby bought me this beautiful stand mixer. It has my initials on it which makes it so personal. I used it and it did the job. It's really heavy though but I was fine with it. I love to bake and both of my Kitchenaid mixers are wonderful helpers! I'm obviously a satisfied customer.

Not built to last

These mixers aren't built to last anymore. Get a bosch instead. Mines done after a few years of cake making. What a waste of money.

Wonderful mixer!

This mixer is wonderful! I love that it comes in different colors but more than that I appreciate that it does a smooth and quiet job of mixing batter. You can feel that it is well built and lends itself to professional results! I'm very glad I bought this when it was on sale.
