I received this mixer as a Christmas present this past Christmas from my boyfriend. I left my laptop at his house one day and had the Macy's website open in a browser with the Martha Stewart Blue Collection Artisan 5 Qt. mixer on the screen when he opened up my laptop. This was my 'subtle' way of letting him know how much I wanted it! I've used it several times since the holiday, most recently, I baked 100+ cupcakes for a 2-year old's birthday party. This machine really stood to the test as I used it on and off for 5+ hours, intermittently on the highest speed. My boyfriend surprised me with the grater/slicer attachment and the grater has come in so handy when I grate carrots for carrot cake or grate a block of cheese for tacos. I love the Aqua Sky color as teal or any shade of teal is my favorite color and always catches my eye. It is definitely a conversation piece in the kitchen. I love KitchenAid and the Martha Stewart Collection and would definitely recommend this mixer!
This stand mixer, which I got from my mother-in-law for my wedding, is one of my favorite things I own. It can do just about anything and make your life so much easier when you are making meals. I've started collecting all the extensions and so far the meat grinder is my favorite for making Martha Stewart's salmon burgers!! Love it!
I received this as a shower gift, and I've used it several times to make scones, tiramisu, whipped cream, and beat egg whites. It works consistently and smoothly. Sometimes the sugar gets stuck in the very bottom of the bowl, so watch out for that. Overall very happy!!
Beautiful color, works great, worth the price! This is a great investment!
I've had my mixer for a couple of years now. I was hesitant to spend this much money for a mixer but I have never been sorry. I use it for anything that requires stirring or whipping and have even started to make breads. So easy to clean and because of its beauty, can be left on the counter for easy access. Well worth the cost!
I've wanted a KitchenAid mixer for a very long time, so I treated myself and bought the Martha Stewart line. It's a very powerful machine and does so much more than mixing when you add all of the optional attachments. This is THE mixer to own and I love the color :)
a client was moving and as I was cleaning and painting the place for her she said as she went out the door " you can have all of the contents of these cabinets." she had waved to the only two cabinets holding contents. She was grining like she was giving me something grand. She was. It was this mixer with many attachments. I was floored. Here it was my dream machine I had never been able to experience. I made foods like I never had. I called all my family and friends and declared my joy. I enjoyed every minute that I used it. after -a month and a half this woman called me to say she made a mistake and forgotten that the mixer was in the cabinet. I returned it to her reluctantly. My heart was broken. I had always wanted one and for that brief time I did and it worked like the dream I knew it would. I made bread and the motor turned it with no effort. The bowl held everything my recipe called for and the blade reached every bit of it. I especially like that it could start out at such a slow speed and then it had a very high speed too, making it so easy for any recipe. I loved that machine and you will too!
I grew up with a Kitchen Aid mixer, and have enjoyed mine for years. The dough hook is fast and easy for bread making. I make large batches of cookie dough for presents and this mixer is powerful enough to mix triple batches. Easy clean up. I bought the MS blue for my daughter to start a new generation's kitchen magic. I was glad to see that the quality was still as good as my older version. I wish they'd had all the fun colors when I bought mine.
