It did not last even a year. I’m assuming it has frozen up because of grounds of coffee oils getting into the works, but I will never know since Krupa has made cleaning or fixing this device impossible. Low price reflective of quality of product.
As I read some of these negative reviews, I'm astounded. I bought my Krups coffee grinder when I bought my first home in 1988 and conservatively, have used it more than 11,000 times (I use it to grind herbs as well). I will say, I clean it after each use, but that, in and of itself is not what has extended it's "life." It's a product of plain old, sound engineering and manufacturing processes. (By the way, it still looks new!) Thanks Krups!!
Bought it as a gift for my son and his wife. STOPPED 8-months to the day.
Got this as a xmas gift 3 years ago along with a french press. LOL use it about every other day (I like fresh grind coffee). Absolutely awesome I just shake out anything stuck ever 3 or 4 uses and it stays pretty clean. I do wish I could get coarser grind sometime, but that is on me not the grinder.
This grinder lasted for about 3 months. For the price I would've hoped it would last a lot longer. First the blade popped out. Was able to put it back together but then would have to do this after each use.
I bought this 8 months ago it grinds green bud perfectly to roll or to even put in a toking bowl it really is a green bud grinder and makes me very happy
This product worked well for the first week I had it. I never got it wet, unplugged when cleaning with dry paper towels and it still broke. Do not waste your money on this, buy a more reliable grinder.
A few months after I was married, I bought a red Krups Model 203. It has served us well. It finally slowed down yesterday and we went to buy another, but after visiting 4 stores and looking on line, we settled on another brand. Wish I would have looked for this site. Also wish Krups still made a red one! Red would match my coffee maker.
