If you are looking for a coffeemaker that gives you a hot coffee every time this is the perfect one for you. The coffee tastes great and I wouldn't give anything for this coffeemaker!!!

Got tired of my Kerig and wanted to make a pot of coffee for when I have guests. Krups brews the best pot of coffee.

I've had this coffee maker for about a month. I like that it has a nice display and a built in filter.

I've had this unit for about 2 years now, so I've worked with it quite a bit. We drink coffee nearly every day. The coffee maker makes good coffee (more a function of the coffee brand and water being used than the coffee maker), but as others have mentioned, the problems start with pouring in water. I, too, don't like the small, somewhat oddly placed opening to pour in the water. I've also had a problem from day 1 with the water level indicator. It is stuck and doesn't float to the top to show the water level. Not too big an issue, but I've also had a problem with the electronics. There are many times that I'll press one of the buttons for a delayed start or to turn it on immediately and the button doesn't respond. I'll need to press it over and over again to finally get the unit to do what I want. Sometimes it works fine, other times it just doesn't respond at all. Finally, we've had an issue with the top closing properly. When the top doesn't fully close, the coffee doesn't fully brew (some of the water comes through, but the rest stays in the basket and builds up, which can cause the grinds to overflow the filter and drip into the coffee maker if you're brewing a large number of cups). I've had similar issues with other coffee makers if the pot isn't placed in the unit properly, but it seems worse with this unit. I'll find another brand next time. Getting tired of the issues with this one.

sleek looking but easy to operate

After 10 years my Melitta coffee maker died. My husband went online to find one with a good rating. That's how he does it. I just went to Macy and looked. The Krups coffeemaker caught my eye, great price, didn't have to think. Bought it. Krups is a great German company that makes quality products. It works fantastic and coffee tastes wonderful.

Water gets very hot which makes for a good cup of coffee…brews quickly…only change I would make is to the area where you pour the water into the pot….a little small and awkward to get at…
