Totally tech. A tri-system blend of water, emollients and powder. Looks solid, glides on as a soft, creamy emulsion. Provides a natural matte, powder-perfect finish. Smooth to blend, easy to work with: provides a full range of coverage. Water-cooled - refreshes and hydrates skin. Light diffusing: softens lines, creates a fresh, flawless finish. Good on all skin types. Studio Tech is dermatologist tested, ophthalmologist tested, non-acnegenic and safe for contact lens wearers.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s hard to find. Lovely shade with full coverage.
Love my Mac I have Rosasha and you can't even tell
Love this foundation, have ordered several times. Coverage is light to medium, never caked looking.
I’m not a make-up person, but MAC is the perfect choice! MAC foundation has a natural tone. The make up complements my skin in a way that it is highlighted in a naturally beautiful way.
Easy to apply and the compact is light enough to carry in my purse. The color and texture is excellent. It goes on moist and dries with little or no transfer so perfect with my face mask! My first MAC makeup purchase and on line too! I'm glad I took a chance with MAC... it's the best foundation in a compact!
MAC Studio Tech Foundation was just what I was looking for. A moisturizing foundation in a compact. It doesn't get any better than that for me. It is so convenient to use. It comes with a sponge within the compact for easy application. I used their color chart to guess my color, and I was spot on! I picked up this foundation in the golden-tan. It is a perfect match. Glides on smoothly and is a medium coverage for a more natural look. I grabbed three because this was a hard-to-find product for me, and Bobbi Brown doesn't make it in a compact anymore. I am totally happy with my purchase and would buy again in the future.
I have been using it for years and I love it. It is so hard to find a texture and a shade you like and a foundation is so important in your beauty regimen ! Since I could not find my shade NC 35 on line I went to a Mac Store. Not only they didnt know about the discontinuation but they couldnt believe it as they told it was one of their best sellers? They were really nice and were able to find 4 boxes in different stores that they had shipped to me but once I will be done I guess I will have to shop for an equivalent in other brands :( So sad!
So basically my overall experience with this foundation is I am in love with it. BEST FOUNDATION MAC OFFERED. key word. OFFERED. unfortunately it will be discontinued because "Many factors are considered when a product is discontinued. We don't take the task lightly. We hope you'll take a look at Studio Fix Soft Matte Foundation Stick for a great alternative" - M·A·C Artist Response. Mac..No. the foundation stick is not a great alternative. You know what could've been like a good change. The packaging. Make the top clear so we can see the shade. Add the name of the product over the top as well. More compact and slick like make a square packaging. Somehow easily storable and less old lady looking traditional packaging. Like re brand it. But instead y'all choose the extreme. I personally don't want a matte finish even though i have hormonal oily skin. I want a natural finish bc i know how my skin works and this foundation gave me longevity and comfortable wear w. Oh didn't break me out either (that is subtle shade to the studio fix fluid SPF15). Not everyone has oily skin. The products y'all are appearing to only offer seems to be mainly for matte with a wide range. I am a woman of color and i can't pick my side out of the last 3 or 4 none matte foundations y'all offer. This was honestly the wrong move. The brand is not the same anymore. It's not fun shopping at Mac. I don't feel like i used to when i was teenage girl buying my lipstick and eyeshadow. Purchasing my first wrong shade of foundation lol. The brand back then had life, fun collaborations, and gave everyone that shot of confidence. Now it's like oh another launch of nothing spectacular. Another discounted product. Another matte finish. Don't hit me with the generic message either. Print this review and put it in boardroom. Make it visible to y'all eyes and say how can we improve our customers experience so we don't get another review like this again. Then say April fools we just re branding the studio tech
