I bought this dress, post-back surgery, to wear for job interviews with a short black blazer. Even through I've gone from an 8/10 to a Sz 16 (5'8", 198lbs), the dress is perfectly proportional to my interim/current size.
I have the cap-sleeve version in an 8 and the silhouette is very flattering, even with a large bustline (36D before, 40 D now).
I absolutely must have at least elbow sleeves at this weight. This dress has 3/4 sleeves, which look great.
The dress is true to size. I can personally attest that it looks great on, no matter what your size is. You'll feel confident, feminine and pretty in this dress for any occasion; it's very versatile and flattering.
Hits just at the knee, which is my favorite length. It could easily be shortened for younger women.
The ruching hides a multitude of mid-section flaws and the attractive neckline draws the eyes up.
The dress is substantial jersey, but not lined, unfortunately. I'll be wearing it with shapewear or tights, whether it's lined or not.
It's machine washable in cold on delicate. Hang dry immediately and you're good to go!
All the LRL jersey dresses I have in my smaller size have held up extremely well and I'm so happy to leave the dry cleaners, and all their chemicals, behind! These dresses pack better than anything I've worn, they just don't wrinkle. :)
Overall, this is a great dress for a good price and will flatter women of all sizes. YAY! Go for it!
