They are so cute ..but the holes are so small the pepper won't shake out unless it is really fine so won't use it. very disappointed.

Design is lovely. Dish has an outer rim which the cover snaps onto. The lid has an embossed butterfly on it as well! Very pretty!

I have a large selection of Butterfly Meadow dishes and all shapes and sizes. I purchased two of these because they are great for leftovers, but they have a multitude of uses. I like this Lenox line of bakeware since they are so versitile, e.g., table to oven to microwave to freezer.
