adorable and not itchy

I love this so much that I bought it in other sizes for when my girl grows. It is not itchy at all for her.

itchy fabric at the sleeves.

Daughter was so excited for this, but the morning after she said that the sleeves are so itchy and uncomfortable. She refuses to wear it now. Debating on cutting out the material for her. Size 10 fits my 8. 5 year old perfectly though. She normally wears an 8/10 in girls.
