After lots of searching for the right cocktail dress, I purchased this dress in black. The fit was perfect. I love the satin trim which breaks it up just a bit. The back of the dress was open above the zipper but I was able to adjust my bra so it was not visible. I also purchased the London Times bolero in black to wear over the dress and it was a perfect match to the satin bow. Very pleased.
The dress is a beautiful shade of blue, it fits very nice and I got lots of complaints during the holidays. I wore the dress on two occassion last year and everyone thought it was gorgeous. I love the way it flows, I was a little leary at first considering I am top heavy but the fit was great. Glad I made the purchase
I love this dress. I have the wine color and it is really pretty. Now I need an occasion to wear it.
I loved this dress. I ordered it for my bridal shower and feel like it's just perfect. I know I'll be able to wear it to lots of weddings and events. Very comfortable. One comment though, the back is open between the top of the zipper (just above the waist) to the button at the top of the neck. I am not sure what kind of bra I'll be able to wear without having it show. It definitely made me look busty (I'm a B cup), but not in a bad way. I can't wait to wear it!
This dress fit really well and was very flattering. It fell right to my knee and I'm 5'7". It was comfortable and perfect for a daytime wedding.
This dress was for a special church event. Fit very well I am the average size woman not a size 2. Over forty, the dress fit well in the chest area and it was just perfect, not to short but rigth below my knees. I am 5''6' tall I wore 3 inch heels with the dress. Very flattering.
I ordered this gorgeous, dressy, feminine dress in ink-- a dark blue which is between royal and navy. The front satin bow lays beautifully. I am 5ft. 3 in. tall, 100 lbs. and a size 2, and it fits me at the knee. It is flattering everywhere except at the bust. I'm very small there and there is too much loose material I don't fill out. It might look fine on someone with at least a B or C cup. I'm sorry I have to take it back. This would be a pretty bridesmaids dress (as someone mentioned), but again, only if they have a fuller bust.
My friend selected this dress for myself and her maid of honor to wear for her February wedding. I saw it and instantly knew that this would be an unflattering silhouette for most people over a size 2. I am tall and thin but the waist on this dress made me have a uniboob and look extremely dumpy. Also, the dress is poorly sewn - the lining was visible at the neckline - and the fabric is extremely thin and static prone. When we tried the dress on for my friend, she saw why we were so dissastisfied with it and decided to have us return it in favor of another dress. On the bright side, it was SO easy to return the dress at a Macy*s store :)
